    Short Description

Ultrasonic milling equipment, also known as ultrasonic-assisted milling machining centers or ultrasonic vibration-assisted milling systems, is not a traditional "milling cutter" but rather an advanced manufacturing system that combines high-frequency mechanical vibration with rotary milling motion. While a conventional milling cutter rotates at high speed, it imparts high-frequency, low-amplitude vibrations to the tool (or workpiece).

    Advantages

Significantly Expands the Processing Range: Milling is no longer limited to plastic materials, and can now efficiently process hard and brittle materials such as glass, ceramics, zirconium oxide, silicon carbide, sapphire, and quartz.
    High Processing Quality:
Excellent Surface Quality: Achieve lower surface roughness (Ra), reducing subsequent polishing steps.
High Processing Precision: Extremely low cutting forces mean less tool and workpiece deformation, enabling high-precision micromachining.
No "White Layer" Damage: Improved control of work hardening and the heat-affected zone (HAZ), making it particularly suitable for heat-sensitive materials.

    Ultrasonic milling equipment

Long Tool Life: Due to the significant reduction in cutting forces and cutting heat, tool wear is significantly slowed, extending tool life several times.
High Processing Efficiency: For difficult-to-machine materials, the material removal rate (MRR) is far superior to traditional grinding and other processing methods.
Environmentally Friendly and Clean: Minimum Quantity Lubrication (MQL) or air blasting is typically sufficient, reducing coolant usage and waste disposal.
